SME Centre Conference 2024

We were thankful to have Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & Community, Culture and Youth, Ms Low Yen Ling, as Guest of Honour for the 2024 SME Centre Conference at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 31 July 2024. Over 1,000 SMEs, business delegates, government agencies and partners gathered to explore opportunities for AI adoption across various fields and exchanged ideas on the transformative benefits of GenAI in driving productivity at work.

Themed “Unleashing the Potential of AI for Business Growth”, the 2024’s conference was designed to motivate SMEs to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) as a catalyst for their business development and transformation. Through plenary sessions and panel discussions, the conference provided valuable insights into how AI can boost efficiency, spur innovation, and enhance competitiveness.

“This timely event addresses the pressing concerns about the role of AI in reshaping the future of work and opening new opportunities for our SMEs,” said Mr Charles Ho Nai Chuen, Chairman of SME Centre@SCCCI, during his welcome speech. “AI is a hybrid of art and science and the five key elements of AI – Initiation, Imagination, Creation, Intuition and Implementation – is the foundation for a successful adoption of AI,” said Mr Ho.
