About SME Centre Conference 2024

Organised by SME Centres and supported by Enterprise Singapore, the annual SME Centre Conference is a flagship event for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The conference offers a platform for business leaders and industry experts to share their insights and experiences, addressing some of the key challenges that SMEs face on the ground.

Themed 'Unleashing the Potential of AI for Business Growth', this year's conference is designed to motivate SMEs to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) as a catalyst for their business development and transformation. Through plenary sessions and panel discussions, the conference will provide valuable insights into how AI can boost efficiency, spur innovation, and enhance competitiveness.

The event also serves as a networking hub, connecting nearly 1,000 SME business leaders, entrepreneurs, founders, and government representatives. It is an opportunity to engage with business advisors and solution providers, fostering connections that can lead to future collaborations and success.

The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), a statutory board under the Ministry of Law, is the national authority that registers and is responsible for the administration of IP rights in Singapore.

Central to IPOS's mission is the Singapore IP Strategy 2030 (SIPS), which aims to help businesses use intangible assets (IA) and IP to grow and is committed to building Singapore into an international IA/IP hub.
